Praise God. With the help of dozens of volunteers, and the leadership of a solid team of amazing volunteer coordinators, the Rock Church reached out to over 5,000 people in San Diego County on Wednesday, October 24. Some of the people reached out to have been isolated from any support at all, but with the coordination of logistics, the Red Cross, the police organizations, as well as donated vehicles, supplies, bodies, and even helicopters, the Christian community has been using the Rock Church as a focal point to reach areas on the far side of numerous police roadblocks. The effort continues, we sent out a convoy of eleven trucks to Mountain View Community Church in Ramona already this morning, and the orders are still rolling. A little breakdown of some of the individual items from orders - 1,000 Hot Dogs & Buns, 300 packs of Lunch Meat, 500 T-Shirts, 500 Shorts, Air Mattresses, Cots, Cases and Cases of Water, and the list goes on. Rock Relief Center OpensLast updated: Tuesday, October 23rd, 9:30 AM PST
Due to raging wildfires burning throughout San Diego county, at 10 AM on Tuesday morning, the Rock Church opened its doors as a shelter and relief efforts center. We can use as many volunteers as possible to come to the sanctuary to help with hospitability, food distribution, encouragement and overall help where needed. If possible, please contact those serving in your ministry and anyone else you know that can lend a hand. In order to do this effectively and safely, we need trusted and faithful volunteers. If you are able, we could use your help today. No need to reply, just come to the sanctuary. If you would like to donate supplies, we can use cots, sleeping bags, water and food. Especially any sleeping equipment, since we will house the fire victims overnight. Message from Pastor MilesLast updated: Monday, October 22nd, 2:30 PM PST

Don't Say…
Do Say…
Seven things to remember:
Encouraging Biblical Truths God has not and will not abandon you in you time of need. Heb 13:5-6 "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" God has, through His power, gotten you through hard times in the past. James 1:2-5 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. God wants you to call on Him, so He can comfort you. Jeremiah 33:3, Jer 33:3 "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." God is the God of comfort you need. 2 Cor 1:3-5 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5 For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. God has not and will not abandon you in you time of need.
